Local Mode (Default)

When you use Local Mode, everything stays on your device:

  • Your thoughts are processed entirely in your browser
  • Nothing is sent to any server
  • Data is stored in your browser's LocalStorage
  • We literally cannot see what you write

AI Mode (Opt-in)

When you choose AI Mode for deeper organization:

  • Your text is sent securely to our processing server
  • We use Google's Gemini AI for intelligent categorization
  • Your text is not stored after processing
  • We do not use your data for training AI models
  • Results are returned to you and then forgotten

What We Store

The only data we might collect:

  • Anonymous usage metrics (page views, not content)
  • Error logs for debugging (no personal data)
  • We never store the content of your thoughts
  • We never create user accounts or profiles
